The Ordinary Challenge

Right now, the mannequin challenge is taking the internet by storm. Although I never follow these challenges much, I felt compelled to look this one up and was amused by all of the mannequin behavior recorded. Today when I sat in meditation, my thoughts were on a desire to see God in everything. Given the fact that many of us are still digesting the ramifications of the new president elect, I think this is a great change of pace. The quote “The kingdom of God is within” always struck me as powerful and so I challenge everyone reading this post to begin to see God in everything little and everything big. From the sun that peaks out behind the clouds to the smile of the woman ringing up your groceries because when you find God in the ordinary, life becomes extraordinary.
